I'm Mikala, your Des Moines area IBE Elite Artist.

I've trained in multiple extension methods, but exclusively offer Invisible Bead Extensions for overall customization and the health of my guest's hair. I strongly believe in the importance of continued education to always be improving my craft. The value of that investment in education is passed along to my clients, as I think your experience with extensions is strongly dictated by how educated you are in the care of them.

My salon is a small, private suite where I can tailor the experience to you. If you want to work during your appointment, perfect, bring your laptop. If you want to relax and zone out, love it, bring a book or just chill. Want to chat about everything we have in common and listen to your favorite music? Awesome,  you can tap in to my bluetooth and be the DJ too.

 

With me, you won't be double booked, put with an assistant, or be in a loud, busy salon. Your experience here is all about you.

More about me personally, I almost always have a coffee in hand. I've been married to my high school sweetheart for 14 years and have a son who is nearly 2!  Outside of my suite, you'll probably find me at home - my favorite place to be, hanging out with my family. I love all things health & wellness and just learning how to navigate this new season of life.
